A word from the Administrator

Gasconade County E-911 has come a long way since it’s beginning 1995. Having the capability to locate a 911 call on a digital map from a cellular telephone wasn’t even thought of. In it’s early stages, Gasconade County’s 911 Dispatchers used a typewriter to log information received over the telephone and radio. Now we use a complex CAD system that does some of the work for us. Our call volume has also risen over the years from under 50 per month to an average of 500 per month. More than 50% of these calls are now made from Cellular phones.

In pressing three digits, our residence and visitors have access to a professionally trained dispatcher who has access to the most up to date tools needed to properly and professionally handle any emergency call. We commit ourselves to excellence when it comes to serving the agencies to which we dispatch, along with the citizens and visitors of Gasconade County.
